How to Carb a 1993 5.7 with 4L60E

Hey. New to the forum. I have a 1993 silverado, lovingly called rust bucket, that has a 5.7 litre SBC with a TBI system on top. I am looking for tips on how to change the TBI to a 650 cfm carb or a self learning Holley EFi if my budget allows. Any tips and/or tricks that would really help. Budget is around $800 canadian. Looking for power increase and no surging while getting up to speed. Thanks. Will post photos of the truck and build as this progresses.

You'll need a stand alone controller for your 4l60e. That and a carb (unless you already have one) will be well over 800$....
