Does anyone know what that orange rusted wheel is called? And how to remove it?

That is the front axle shaft. You have to remove the differential cover, pull the cross shaft out of the gears and then slide the axle shaft in to release the c-clip. It then pulls straight out.

That is the front axle shaft. You have to remove the differential cover, pull the cross shaft out of the gears and then slide the axle shaft in to release the c-clip. It then pulls straight out.
Theres 2 other threads for this with the answers he seeks lol. Ifs diff doesnt have a diff cover either.

Oh crap! I was thinking rear when I told him how to pull that axle shaft. The front when you just pop out of there with a pry bar behind it.

Easy yet can be a pain to those that are not to mechanically inclined... before I tell you the easiest way to remove it.. WHY do you want to remove It? Is it leaking? If it ain't I wouldn't remove it. As the assembly that has to come out has a couple extra parts that'll drop out..
