ZIP TIES AND PB BLASTER
Ok, the truck gets really crappy milage (9 to 11 mpg), and after mild acceleration pulls (4k rpm or more) will occasionally backfire (not too bad). Also will sometimes struggle going uphill at low rpms. Possible diagnosis?
Has a 5.7 vortec mpfi with bolt ons...such as: CAI, Msd 6al ignition running through an accel coil, good plugs and wires, new cap and rotor. Catback true dual exhaust with factory cats. Hooked up a scan tool, running with timing severely advanced and the fuel trim all over the place. But, i honestly have no clue whats going on.
