My truck started good all summer. Now that the cold weather hit, it has a hard time starting. It will start but usually takes about 2-3 tries. The weird part though is after that initial start, you can shut it off and it will start great as many times as you want it to and will continue to start the rest of the day. It seems to be the worst after sitting overnight. Distributor cap and rotor are new, new fuel filter, spark plugs and wires are only a few months old. Checked the fuel pressure today and when you turn the key on it goes to 60 but it does slowly drop to around 54, not sure why. Then when you crank it drops to around 48-50 and when its running it stays at a constant 52 but when you rev the engine it jumps to around 60 and when you let off it drops back to 52. Any ideas what the problem is? If the fuel pump is weak then wouldn't it have a hard time starting all the time and not just after sitting overnight and in the cold weather?
