i have a tahoe limited with 220k on the clock. the gear box is getting pretty lose on it. i herd tighting it up only last so long and wears out faster so i was going to get a reman to install on it. my question is since it has the police package on it would the gear box be differnt? at autozone and other parts stores it shows all the same but i have to look up parts for a 98 because if you look up a 2000 it shows the new body style. i just wanted to know because like on the s-10's they have the zq8 package with a quick ratio steering box. just did not want to change it and be differnt.
