on a '98 with an automatic, is the gear selector supposed to be visible with no lights, such as when the truck is parked with no key in? Mine shows absolutely nothing and has as long as I've owned it so I'm wondering if my linkage is the issue or if there should be a light bulb that might just be burnt out. It's freakin cold out so I'd like to know the direction to go first since I'll likely only be out 5 -10 minutes at a time.

Thanks

Hmm, so if none light up is that repairable or do I need to find a new cluster?
