Fuel Gauge is stuck on full

My fuel gauge has been stuck in full for about 4 months now and I am sick of not knowing the exact amount of gas I have. Any suggestions?

Ive been having start up issues too but idk if that's related or not.

I took it to a shop just to ask what could be the problem and he said he would have to take the tank out just to find out.
