So I started with ignition parts because everyone was telling me fuel. I found when I did the tune up for my father in law I had busted the ear hole off the distributor where the screw goes in. The cap was pretty loose. The rotor bug looked decent but you could tell there had been some funky firing times in multiple spots. And the points on the cap were pretty corroded. I just replaced the parts and used some zip ties to cinch her down. I then put a little larger machine screw with some meaner threads down through the busted part. Redneck innovation I know... but hey, hasn't coughed since! On to the next project!
