Recently my 1996 vortec V6 has been giving me some issues. Lately the truck has been hard to get down the road in because the engine will bog down under the slight use of the gas pedal. The engine also bogs down a little while revving without a load on the engine. It also sounds like it has a slight misfire, but im not too sure. To add to issues, i hear a rattling sound now, when the engine is running, and it is louder when the engine is under load. The engine will not hesitate/bog after the temp reaches around 140 Degrees. Only when cold. I decided to pull the codes and see what DTC's the computer could give me.
So here we go:
1)P0115
H02S Heater Performance, Bank 2, Sensor 1
2)P0113
H02S Slow Response Bank 1, Sensor 1
3)P0135
H02S Heater Performance, Bank 1, Sensor 1
4)P0140
H02S Circuit insufficient Activity Bank 1, Sensor 2
5)P0141
H02S heater performance Bank 1, Sensor 2
6)P0154
H02S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 2, Sensor 1
7)P01153
H02S Insufficient Switching, Bank 2, Sensor 1
8)P1406
EGR Valve Pintle Position Circuit

Any idea if these DTC could be causing the bogging/Noise?

Any ideas Welcomed.

The heater performance code is referring to a O2 sensor problem and that can cause a lot of different issues.

I read somewhere that the o2 sensors are on the same circuit as the transmission... I just reran the DTC check and it came up with 55 DTC codes. Around 12 for the trans related

Failing O2 sensors can certainly cause those performance problem. Bad sensors often throw codes for the sensor heater which is what you have. No idea on the transmission connection. Maybe a bad throttle position sensor?
