Looking for info on swapping later hardware into early doors. I have two older super clean early door shells to replace the ones my 1997 that are rusting out on the the bottom.
I painted the drivers door and I am now reassembling it. I read it can be done putting the newer stuff in the older door but some of the rods are different? I have a rusty set of 99 tahoe doors so I am pulling the stuff off of them instead of the stuff currently on the 97.
What rods do I need? do I need to swap out the latches to earlier ones? thanks for any help.
