Just read all 22 pages. You are one good fabricator man. Is that your line of work?
Thanks. For work I'm just a equipment operator for a road construction company.

What's your plans fit the headache rack? You gonna mesh it or what?

I will just leave it open, never know when an exit out the back window may be needed.

Rear disc are done. I used some modified mounting plates calipers and pads from a GM 10 bolt front axle and some ford e250/350 rotors.

The disc brakes were simple on the sterling. I just had to notch the old backing plates to slide over the axle tube, welded them to where the original drum brake backing plates bolted to on the axle and everything lines up pretty good. The pads sit a little high on the rotor but if I mounted it any lower they would have rubbed where the rotor goes over hub. Then used a couple of factory 92 front flex lines that I ran to each side.

Well the hydro assist didn't work as planned, I pulled the modified steering box off today and tore it apart to do a rebuild, the rebuild kit wont arrive until next week likely. I find a couple metal shaving in the power piston part of the box and a couple small marks in the seal

This 5 month long project is finally done. I ditched the hydro assist steering for now, after the box rebuild it leaked fluid everywhere so I tossed in another stock box and will worry about it at a later time.
