If you think you'll ever want to change gears, do it now. Also you'll need an install kit with special bearings if the TrueTrac is going into a 10 bolt. (You never mentioned what rear end you're putting this into...)

I have a 95 k2500 with a 14 bolt sfa and 6 lug. I guess I won't need this.
Nope, you should be fine with the stock size bearings. I'd go ahead and replace them while you're in there, though. Here's the Motive master rebuild kit for the 9.5" 14 bolt SF. (With Timken bearings)
