Daylight running lights

I have a 1997 silverado and I'm 17. Sometimes i just dont want headlights on when im doin certain things...does anyone know how to disable daylight running lights? or is it even worth it/

Pull fuse #15.

pull fuse #15 that will shut them off untill you re-install the fuse

Ya they work when you turn the headlight switch on.
