CRATE MOTOR QUESTION

sooo I plan on getting another engine somebody borrowed mine and its threw i mean through they ran it hottt for wayyy to long thought about head job but went ahead and decided on a crate. I found the crate for the 1996-2000 trucks on jegs. http://www.jegs.com/p/GM-Performance/GM-Goodwrench-1996-2000-57L-350-Truck-Engine/813788/10002/-1 My question is will everything from my truck bolt right onto this motor? intake and all? will it work with everything just like new im talking check engine light computer etc im picky about that kind of stuff. Is there a cheaper place to get this same setup if so.

Everything should bolt up just fine as long as the parts your bolting up also belonged to an L31. As for the computer aspect I wouldn't know what would need to be done, but somebody will chime in.

What year its your truck? If its a vortec then yes those are direct replacement engines an everything will work fine. An like Kevin said spend the extra few bucks for the 4 bolt
