How do i know what the offset on these wheels are?

With a 5" backspacing on a 8" wheel it will have some positive offset, probably +12mm.

Ok, I'm trying to see if I can find these in a negative offset

Look for something with 4" backspacing or less.

I found some with the back spacing at 4. What offset will that be then?

4" backspacing will give you around -12mm offset. Heres a chart I found from a google search to help you.
