How do you all detect engine/belt squeal's?
I have a squeal when the engine is cold, after about 10 miles or less it stops. I did notice it started after the hydroboost brake swap (also upgraded power steering pump). Is there any tricks on finding the issue without throwing money at it lol

To be sure it is a belt, take the belt(s( off and restart and see if noise is gone. While belt is off, check all pulleys/idlers for slop or roughness. Also, need to be sure any spring loaded tensioners are still strong. Just releasing for the previous work, may have weakened it. Age of belts, cracking and glazing of belt surface can cause noises. Misaligned pulleys and debris stuck in pulleys can cause noises.
