They routinely charge 2x what a reputable shop would to perform work.

IIRC they were trying to charge us something like $200 for a pitman arm on the 3500. Just the parts cost, not including labor. Not only completely unnecessary, but also priced to the moon.

A Ford dealership that is working on friend's 2005 Focus is charging them

Right rear brake cylinder and rear brake shoes, $525 / Coil, plugs, valve cover gaskets $850 / Diagnosis, $165 / Oil change, $60

But I've had ENOUGH of this car. MIL has been "on" for two years. One spark plug was blown apart--no center conductor at all--when I put plugs into it ~20K miles ago.

Raybestos also make good steering components. It's what I used for my front end rebuild.
