Just wanted to take a moment to share a big thank you to everyone here on the board for all their help and suggestions.
I've owned my 95 GMC 1500 SL since new and its been very reliable. It now has 78,000 miles on it and has become my full time transportation.
Over the years it was religated to sitting in the drive way and used solely to tow my open car trailer for my race car. In March of this year my 2015 Dodge Dart crapped out, so I decided that instead of buying a new car i'd get the truck back into running condition.
With the help of this site I added new Bilstein shocks, a Truxedo cover, dashskin, new headliner and much more. Its like brand new again except for the peeling clearcoat which i'll address soon.
