Hey guys, I recently completed the GMT800 front brake swap and GMT800 master on my OBS 2000 Tahoe Z71 and I'm disappointed... the brakes take a lot more effort to stop and as such, feel no better than the GMT400 brakes (if not worse). The only improvement is that the dead spot on the top of the pedal is improved, which is due to the GMT800 master and not the GMT800 brakes themselves. I know hydroboost would likely improve things, although it might make the pedal TOO hard. What about installing a GMT800 booster? I believe the GMT800 booster should have a larger diaphragm? Curious if anyone has done this.
