I'm new to this forum thing but I thought I would join and add pictures so that if there is anyone else out there like me trying to research some builds, there would atleast be a couple of options.

I built this entirely in my garage using my factory bumper with added support of course. I don't have all the pictures from the build but it took around two weeks. I'll post all I have.

These last few are after powder coat. I had to use a wheel off my truck because it's kind of hard to afford one more 20x12 and a 35" mud tire.

Also for reference I used 2x3 3/16 thick tubing for the bottom that runs along the bumper and 2x2 3/16 thick for the braces going up to the center. The only major tools I used are a drill press for all holes. I used hole saws for anything bigger than a 5/8" hole, a grinder, and a Hobart handler 190 welder. I'm very pleased with how it all turned. My wheel and tire weighed in at 103 lbs and the tire carrier holds it with ease.

I forgot to add these of the support bolted in. The tubing is 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" I'm not exactly sure what gauge it is. The plated that bolt the bumper and frame are 1/4". Also this kit is fully removable and the factory plastics can be put back on for the factory look.

That's pretty impressive!

Should be beefy enough to hold most anything.
