Air Injection

Alright so im redoing the entire exhaust system, new manifolds, y pipe, etc. the new manifolds are non AIR, if the hose is left unhooked until i can put a plug in the intake will it cause any sort of running issue? id guess no, but im still new to the spider system outside of my 93 sonoma which has the first rendition of it. any help or advise is greatly appreciated.

un-plug it and rip it out. No need for it, the factory shouldn't have even put those stupid things in cars to begin with. They are just a half-assed way they were able to pass emissions until they developed more efficient engines.
