What troubleshooting steps did you follow before you decided to replace everything?

When I bought the truck 10 years ago the ac didn't work. The compressor was bad... flushing the condenser doesn't work. And the pipe fittings on the lines were corroded so just got new ones.

pressure switch connector.
1997 chevy c1500. had it checked a local garage. They filled it up did not work.
Wiggled the connector at pressure switch and started up.
You can actually jump the a/c at the connector to get it going as a test
