I'm looking at lowering a '99 Suburban about 3" front and rear, upgrading the sway bars and redoing the brakes and steering to make sure it's all good.
I'm thinking Belltech's 2500 spindles for 2"-3" up front and their 5962 leaf springs out back for 3" of drop, paired with their 9524 Street Performance shocks set and their 9911 front & rear sway bar kit.
Now for the steering. I know about the quicker ZQ8 boxes, but are they compatible with the power steering on a Magnasteer truck? What else can tighten up the steering and quell the play these trucks are prone to having?
As for brakes, is there any way to reduce travel before they bite?
