Hi,
I've looked around and can't find the answer to my question. I have a 95 c1500 standard with a 4.3. I also have a donor 96 k1500 suburban automatic with a 5.7. I want to swap the 4.3 out for the 5.7. Whats needed in order to do this? Everything is there in the suburban. From what I understand I would swap the mounts, radiator, engine, and ECM. I read that I would also need to swap the gauges (tach/speedo cluster) because the tach would not read right?? Fuel pump?? What would I need to do to modify the wiring harness seeing the suburban is an automatic?
