95 Silverado in Austin

Just found this forum a couple of months ago, and it’s already been helpful. Glad to be here.

I’m the second owner of a 1995 Silverado extended cab with manual transmission and V6. The truck is a perfect daily driver and everything works well on it. Upgraded the stereo to a Apple CarPlay unit that didn’t need the dash cut so I’m happy about that and have my tunes and hands-free calling.

What unit did you install? Looking to do similar to my 97 suburban. I’d hate to cut up my dash because it’s in such good shape

I believe your dash is different than his and the same kit would not work the same. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
