95 Burb AM Radio Issues

I bought my truck new and have always had very poor reception with the AM portion of the radio. I took it back to the dealer a few times...when it was under warranty...they found nothing. I have taken it out to see if there was a bad electrical connection, striped wire, etc. Didn't see any issues. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I get 90% static...10% reception...doesn't matter where I'm at.

I have the AM/FM, with CD and cassette tape.
