Hello yall, I have a 94 K1500 and Im having an issue when using the power steering.

When Im moving the steering wheel when at idle or coasting slow at low rpm(like steering through a drive thru for food) it starts to buck the engine and makes it very surgey(rpms up and down).

The whole truck vibrates a lot and causes the engine to not run right. A week ago I replaced intake manifold gaskets and I feel like it's a lot worse ever since then.

Problem is worse when in gear, tried it in park and the rpms do bounce and surge but the vibration isn't there.

I do have 35 inch tires on the truck.

Heres a video of the problem at hand:

Anyone got any clue as to what could be causing this?

Video is poor. No sound.

Belt tensioner failing? Belt worn-out? PS pulley worn or contaminated? PS pulley slipping on the shaft? PS fluid low?

IAC not working properly? Connect a scan tool, find out what the computer wants you to know.

Remove the oversized tires.
