5.3 swap question

So I've been doing some research on 5.3 swaps. Has anyone used the currentperformance.com harness? They say it's about $800 and you send them your engine harness and they build a new plug and play harness. Any feedback would be great

Seems high to me. I used http://www.jimsperformance.com/ It was $500 with PCM and TCM programming on a Gen IV system. I think the earlier stuff was cheaper. Next time I'll do it myself a group of us invested in the HP tunners stuff today.

I sent Jim the donor harness and the two control modules . He sent back a stand alone harness and programmed the control modules to work with my set up.

I used PSI's standalone harness.

Whatever you do, don't use LS Performance wiring.

800. IS HIGH for a rebuild on your harness. most times you can get a new harness and pcm for that kind of money. several places here around okc do harness reworks on your harness for 250. shop around. and have fun
