IMO most trucks don't look right without a valance.

I'm pretty sure if you guys wanted to get a lower valance with fog lights on the cheap you could try the one that's on the LT trim level Astro vans from the early 90s (not the conversion vans). I'm about 90% sure these are the same as the harder to find SS454 fog valances.

FYI the fog light housings are the same as 85-90 Pontiac Trans Am and GTA fog lights.

If you wanted to do something a little more HID, run the fog lights off of a 98-02 Camaro.

I vote valance = front chin spoiler ;)

I know this post is old, but whatever.

I find the astro valance very appealing. Rectangular fog light light holes and air openings. I like it.

It would be hard to adapt I think.

Anyone running an aftermarket valance and wants to post pictures?

I like this one, not feeling the round holes though...

I really like this one. :Pshyco:Gives the truck a newer look. Sort of like the gmt800 front bumpers. Friggin $320 though.

That one is a Street Scene - 950-70103. I just saw it on a few different sites for just over $200.

Some projectors would fit really nice in the holes on that one.

You can find it on street scene's website. Or google "88-98 valance".

I do some wheeling so I take it off when I go so it doesn't get torn apart. Makes running lights on it a hassle. But I think it looks goofy from the side if it ain't on. From the front it looks tougher without it but looks sharper with it. This is of course on a stock ride height 4x4.
