Yup. It's a late model 98 which makes it a 99 ecsb 2wd. Just has the compass. Thanks for the info. Just read borahshadows write up on it. Looks like I'm going to the salvage yard in the near future

Theres a how-to write up on the forum. Should be a sticky in the interior section. Borahshadow I believe is who made it.

But yes just needs wiring. Thats why I sell them with the temp sensor so its a conplete ready to install kit.

Weird. Ive only ever seen that mirror in 95. Thought it was a 95 only part.

Nah, my '97 Suburban came with the compass only mirror. I think they were available in all the newer interior trucks. Not sure what dictated which trucks got them and which ones didn't though.
