4.3 vs 5.0

Here is my question is a 5.0 really a step up from a 4.3 I personally have owned trucks with both what do you think ?

I like em both. I haven't really driven them back to back, but I think I like the 4.3 a little bit better. But they're both good.

Between the two, Id get a 305 just because if you want to upgrade, there are a buttload of upgrades available. Stock to stock.....tough to call, both pretty stout and reliable engines.

The 262 truck isn't losing to much to the 305, their power levels are close. The 262 is lighter and since it's a V6 it will rev faster than the 305. I'd rather have the 262. If you want TBI, the '94-95 years are the best. They use better heads, the same heads the CPI engines use.
