Currently building a 383 Stroker for my '96. May have made a mistake and trying to figure out how to go about it. Used a '95 donor engine, guess this year did not use a crankshaft sensor, my machine shop did not realize this either, so the new crankshaft did not get cut for a sensor (needed machine down .001 or something like that). Used a new cast PRMS 400 crank. I can buy the different timing cover and slap a sensor in there and cross my fingers that .001 won't affect anything.
Will my 0411 swap work properly with my multiport fuel injection, without the CKS?
If not, can I buy an external sensor gear and go that route? (any specific suggestions on brand or model)
