Im pretty sure they are not dot legal. They were supposed to be shipped back to the factory but idk how the people got them

Not DOT legal, stickers on them to that effect. There's a member here with them on his truck and he says he's not very confident in their strength, that they seem flimsy.
They're supposed to be returned to GM and have a core charge on them but a surprisingly large number seem to have walked out the back door of various dealerships.
They weigh a freaking ton and a half, btw, as you might suspect!
