I have a 1998 silverado z71 with a np243c transfer case. I finally got around to swapping a wire harness from a 1999 tahoe donor truck. I noticed that I have never had the wire harness for my transfer case. I was always told the wires connected in the engine/trans harness and thought I could fix them with the tail end of a harness. I recently bought a transfer case and the harness up to the speed sensor extension connector. After swapping transfer case and wire harness, I realized I needed the rest of the harness. Called junk yard back 2 days later and truck was gone. Been searching everywhere for months with no luck on any wire harness for 243c transfer case. Only can find ones for 246 transfer case (which I already have). The video and pics should help explain.

I need to know what the blue wire is for. The green/black wire and the orange wire are in the same spot on the connectors. I used shift actuator connector from the donor wire to build it. The connector is the same as on the fire wall. I'm not sure about the brown and grey/black wire coming from the front actuator. I don't know where they should connect to.

Have you downloaded the service manuals with wire diagrams here? There free. You'll be able to trace your wires.

I downloaded them last night and trying to figure out the diagram, but I haven't seen the blue wire on the diagram.
