Just picked up a 1996 GMC that was rolled. Has a good 305 vortec engine with the automatic. I want to put this engine and transmission into a 1993 GMC. Want to know about swapping the computer over and fuel pump. In order to swap the computer over do I just need the wiring that goes through the fire wall to the engine and transmission. What about from the computer under the dash. I also have heard that the fuel pumps are different and I need the one from the 1996 GMC.
Is this a worthwhile swap or should I find one from a 1993 GMC.
