Why are you planning on the swap?

I've wanted to do a 5.3 swap for about a half a decade now. Originally I was going to do it into a last gen K5, but couldn't find one that wasn't rusted out or absurdly expensive. Mostly because I have another LS powered vehicle now, and I'd love to have more power AND better efficiency.

Ah. So it's a want, not a need.

Nope. She runs, drives, and has recently hauled all the necessities for building my buddy's fence, including a couple loads of 1000+ lbs of sackrete, fence panels, and about 300 board feet of 4x4s. Finally got the switchback turn signals put in yesterday.

I also forgot to mention the driver's side door pins are worn. Haven't had a chance to swap in the new ones yet.
