My 1991 Silverado is having issues idling when hot. It will stall whenever you put a load on the engine like sitting at a red light in gear or turning the steering wheel in park. My first suspect is the idle air control valve, I have tested the resistance according to the instructions in the hands manual and it tested as good. I also unplugged the IAC while it was running which had no effect the truck continued to run. My mechanic friend says its probably the TBI gasket but I am not sure what to think.
What should I start with?
