Hello to all. Newbie here with two K3500 4x4's.
1989 Std Cab, TBI454 TH400, BW1370, dually. Have a 1996 4l80e 4x4 trans and 1994 yukon 4l60e 4x4 wiring harness and ecm complete. Has anyone done a smiliar swap? Really want the O/D in this truck as just spins too fast on the interstate.

Also have 1994 Ext Cab, TBI350, 4l80e, BW4401 that I'm leaving stock for now. It's not to bad on gas with od.

Thanks
Steve

It'd honestly be easier to find a 91-94 4L80E along with the TCM(diesels had those) or the PCM and go that route. It's easier to piggyback the pre-94 syle PCM.

For anyone interested
I found a 1991 k2500, TBI350/4l80e 2wd. The moon dash is like mine but with Double D, 3, 2, 1, has factory ECM 14167060 and complete harness. Got it all for $75.
Should make controlling the 80e possible.

Now I have to figure out how to use the BW4401 speed sensor into the 4l80e 2wd wiring harness. Need a wiring guru.
