I have both and i was just wondering if i put the 160 in my truck will it make it run like crap or too rich to rob gas mileage.I have a 350 tbi in my k2500 sub and i will be ordering a jet stage two chip to thow it the with the spacer.which one would be better 160 or 180 stock and chiped. And also do i have to realy run higher octane gas with the chip(i have a 32 gallon take)Sorry for the long thread thanks

I think the jet stage II wants the 180 and 92 octane, otherwise it might ping.

195 all the way. No need to run a cooler stat unless your boosted and having detonation problems.

Larger radiators can be had for cheaper than a stock L31 replacement. Ask for a C/k2500 rad, one for a 454 or one for the single cab C/k3500 diesel. They all use the same core support and last time I checked those radiators were all cheaper. A little visit to rockauto.com should lay everything out for ya.

I'm running 160, but not by choice. I'd prefer to run 180 or 195
