‘97 RCBS 5.7 4L60E 0411 SWAPPED CAM?

LT4 HotCam - $512 and some change…
Elgin E1136 - can’t find one…
Lunati 60121 - can’t find one…
GM 395 - $248 and some change…
GM SP 350/357 - $484 and some change…

So I shouldn’t need to worry about changing springs
if I go with the marine 395, but I will if I go with either of the other 2..?
LS6 springs & Comp Cams Retainers - $175+

So $425+ more for possibly a few more digits of horsepower???
I think I’d be better off going with the marine cam
and put that $425+ towards a set of aluminum Vortec’s maybe like the AFR’s???

I’m looking for a lil feedback/thoughts/opinions…
Or anything else y’all might wanna throw at me!

The "Marine" cams typically make more midrange torque than the "Street" cams.

XM270HR is a torquier version of a Hotcam.

Figured why too. Valve float from the springs being installed on longer than stock valves without being shimmed.
