Towing with 35s
So my options are to upgrade to a 4l80e or build up the 60. I just don't understand why the stock 60 isn't capable of handling a 21 foot boat at 65mph. Maybe it's just my 60 can't. -

Definitely upgrading the G80, and already have the transmission cooler in place. OD on the highway is a no go right now. It does switch in and out of OD. I will be pulling the boat on the highway mostly that's why I'ld like to get a gear that will put me in OD for those long trips to the Keys. -

Yeah it's pretty sluggish with the 3.73. I can't even go past 55mph on the highway. I figured if I had the 4.56 I could put it in OD and get up to 65mph. Just need to confirm this with some of you towing guys in here. -

I have 3.73 gears and looking to upgrade to 4.56. My question is once I upgrade the gears will I be towing in 3rd gear still or go to OD? Also all I'm towing is a 21 foot boat on a tandem trailer. The truck does not go off roading. Will the 10 bolt rearend be good enough for my application? I... -
Nbs 4x4 switch question
Has anyone rewired an nbs 4x4 switch to fit on an obs? The reason I'm looking into this is that I would prefer to have a vertical switch in opposed to the horizontal one we currently have. I'm trying to reconfigure my dash bezel to fit a double din radio. I just do not like to Detail SS kit at...- Lifted

Update. I rechecked the radiator in the daylight and found some grey sludge in there. Checked oil and it was 1/2 full but clean. Is this a head gasket problem or worse?- Lifted
