Ah yeah, definitely kept the EFI. I did the 8.1L install in 2008 and have about 25,000 miles on it since then. Pictures here. I’m collecting parts now to do an 8.1L swap in my Suburban too. My Burb…’89 V2500, TBI 5.7L & NV4500 5 speed I did a NV4500 swap into this one last...- Larry

Yeah, I frequent Expo often. Hit a link to this site and thought I would check it out. Pretty cool to have a dedicated site for the GMT400. A lot of really nice trucks here. Few more of mine over the years. My dad bought this one new back in 1991. 7.4L 4 speed manual I bought this one...- Larry

Thanks guys! It’s not mine though. I did the engine swap for my father in-law a while back. 4.3L to TBI 7.4L. Clean little truck though. He bought it practically new in 1993. This one is my toy….I installed a Vortec 8.1L and NV4500 in this one- Larry
