    Whats the Diff between STD Water pump and HD water pump?

    My 97 K3500...pretty sure it has a chewed up WP impeller...im looking at new pumps and it says there was a STD duty pump, and a HD pump, but does not reference RPO codes or physical differences...anyone know what the difference was?
