Yes I do I was just wondering why I might not getting any chance for the spark advance no matter what way or how far I rotate the distributor or really just the cam sensor and cap it's running alright I just can't get rid of the p1345 code the spark advance is about the same all 1100 rpm...- Jrivers0688

So it's running on 8 but not for long then supdders and dies I set the distributor on 1 with the engine at TDC but I'm reading about 20+ on the spark advance around 1100 rpm when I go backwards it wont start after a certain point do these distributors jump a tooth that easy also when I tested...- Jrivers0688

I got it I had bought a new cap and rotor yesterday because they were cheap and it runs the old cap looks new to me no burn marks or anything I'll post a picture- Jrivers0688

Compression on cylinders 1 and 5 are both 150psi cylinder 3 was 150 the first time then only 110 after that even with a little oil in the cylinder all cylinders hit top Compression on the 3rd stroke lowest Compression on cylinders 1 and 5 are 110- Jrivers0688

So with all 8 plug wires hooked up it turns over and never fires but pops out the intake it also seems to rotate after I let off the starter which is why originally I thought it has a value stuck open the cap and rotor seem to be almost new the rotor seems to be burnt a little and the top looks...- Jrivers0688

I have a 97 k1500 with 5.7 with maybe 220k on the truck ran fine then sat for about year then wouldn't start throws a p1345 code sounds like a intake valve is stuck open when cranking so I pulled a valve cover off and was cycling the motor and it started it valves look to be fine won't start...- Jrivers0688
