    Got them and they were local enough! Both fenders and doors... zero rust and get this all power with the electricals all in tact including the door to cowl rubber boot and speakers and they seem brand new... guy said they were sitting in a dry shed and he appoligized for the dust :). oh yeah...

    I just scored 98 power doors.. but i. Going the other way.. the only thing missing from the doora are the door cards... so i will be putting mine on the power doors and will just plug the window handle hole. Did you by any chance write down the wiring "colors" as to what does what? What harness...

    I found another doner closer with really nice paint coade matched fender and door... real quick i think it does but will the doors on 97 burb fit the 88?.. Another question would be can i use the door panels or am i looking at a swap on the panels?

    Thats awesome man... i also bought mine when i was 15 .. neighbor had to drive it home... drove it to highschool.. and stored it to go to college... life happens.. 20 yrs later married and bought a house i put it in shop.. worth the wait... i cant wait for 427 to go in..

    I just had the same issue... i changed out my healight/parking dash switch and everything started working.. dash lights included. No reverse lights yet but mine is manaul and i have a feeling the reverse switch in the trans is worn out.

    I'll add that my old switch had no positive stops what so ever... no "clicking" when you push or pull.. im not sure this is an indicator but if yours has no positive stops or clicking and you find your lights are doing strange things, whats to lose with a new switch for 20 bucks or so... you...

I just installed new headlight switch and ALL sorts of lights and buzzers started working... tails and dash fixed!... still no reverse lights... but just read a post here that says there is a nub in the shifter/mecbanism that may be worn... i'll get to that when my new hurst shifter...
