NV4500 5th gear nut

So i pulled this NV4500 out of a ‘95 3500 and the build tag on the side is stamped ‘94. I go to disassemble and im looking at the output shaft and i dont see any 5th gear nut. Not like it fell off but i dont see where one would even go on? All i see is the speedometer tone ring and and spacer...

So i have a 1994 C1500 with a 4L60E, 12 pin connector (non pwm) and i have this 1993 4L80E that i want to add in it’s place (pwm). What needs to be done to make it work? I’ve been researching and one idea that came up was stake open the PWM valve and leave the solenoid unplugged to act like...
