    Another ABS Bleeding question

You were right the vins don’t match not even a little bit Vin shows 1998 not 1988 which explains a lot. Vincheck says not stolen and not salvaged. I guess I’ll go to the Secretary of State on Monday.

    Another ABS Bleeding question

I am not sure this an 88 the only thing I’m going off of is the vin number and title. What other sure fire things could I look at to determine what year this truck is?

    EVAP Canister removal

Not for something specific. I’m trying to clean up the engine bay of unnecessary things. As I said before it does not serve any purpose since the engine has been swapped except maybe “filter” vent fuel fumes from the fuel tank. There’s several posts on this forum about removal of the canister...

    EVAP Canister removal

If you clicked the link you would see the valve only closes in a roll over. Try reading like an engineer and not a high school kid. This is a common practice among many makes and models. Though most don’t put the valve in the engine bay.

    EVAP Canister removal

I have a 1988 RCSB with a carbed 400 sbc. I was thinking of removing the the canister since it really doesn't do anything now. Ive read that it would be wise to keep a valve of some sort to prevent pressure building up in the gas tank. Right as of now i don't have time or the patience to drop...

    Another ABS Bleeding question

I recently purchased a 1988 GMC GMT400 Singlec ab Short Bed 2wd that has been frankensteined to say the least. It has a 400sbc, 95 dash and seat and the rest appears to be 88. The guy i bought it from knew absolutely nothing about it. Driving home i realized how sketchy the brakes really were...

How to i figure out how much my truck has been lowered?

I bought this truck already lowered. The guy i bought it from didn't seem to know much about the truck at all, so it obviously wasn't done by him. The rear frame is notched but i cant find any parts or logos to tell me exactly how much it has been lowered or what brand lowering kit it might be...

Looking for 95-99 60/40 Bench Center latch

Another angle of the round latch. Anybody have any insight? The dash seems to be out of a 95 based on the cigarette lighter/ash tray.

Looking for 95-99 60/40 Bench Center latch

I recently picked up an 88 GMC thats kinda been frankensteined. It seems to have a I'm guessing a 96-98 60/40 seat with flip down storage. The latch is broken and i'm trying to find a replacement but all of the latches i've found seem to have an oblong latch while mine is round. Could this seat...
