    Thanks! Its definitely getting more difficult keeping this thing looking good. 20 years of Chicago winters are taking it's toll. I'm going to need to start working on the body rust that keeps creeping up on me.

    Revert to R12

    R12 was great but is now phased out. Which is why it is so expensive. R134a does not work quite as efficiently but was believed to be more 'environmentally friendly'. However, it too will be phased out by 2020.

    The NV4500 was used in multiple non-GM applications. I'm certain there are options available that will work just as good as GM's product....

    LMC Truck. Its the chrome rear bumper without impact strips. I believe I picked it up for $300 or $400, I can't remember.

    It's a 16"x8.5" wheel (MB 352) with 285/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs and the truck has a 3" body lift.

    This thing is starting to look really good. Can't wait to see the headlight/grille swap. Someday I hope to find one of these, for some reason this gen Ford is my favorite truck out there...... maybe I shouldn't admit that around these parts......
