    I have been asking the same question. I ended up looking for someone the could repair or rebuild a harness for me. Painless may have the engine harness. But the rest is a crap shoot.

    B&m shifter help

    Look for the purple wire on the steering column. Thay should be your neutral safety. Cut the steering column side of the wire and exstend it to the shifter.

    Torque converter recommendations

    I was taught not to be in OD when towing. It was explained to me like this. The further up the gears you go the less of load it's meant to take. 1 gear gets you yanked up and rolling and the last gear is just an the easy push once your rolling.

    I'm looking for a new harness ether aftermarket or oem. I talked to painless wiring and they suggested an universal gm harness (10415). Is there anyone that makes one for the obs?
