Have you considered trying glasspacks that have the flange on them to bolt on to the header collector? It might be cheaper that a ticket.

Is it just quieter from inside the cab or out side? I had a 50 series before and I couldn't hear it from the inside at all at freeway speeds but sounded nice on the out side around town.

What weight/type oil do you run?

I have been useing Cheveron Supreme 5w30 and a k&n oil filter with good results on my 91 k2500 7.4l and on my wifes 01 Suburban .
